Up to 500 pages and 250 MB — it stays on this device

Your PDF is read and saved in this browser. Nothing is uploaded.

The original stays unchanged. A new PDF is created with the pages you keep.

How to use

  1. Drop a PDF into the file area or choose it from your device.
  2. Click thumbnails to mark pages for deletion, or enter numbers such as 2, 5-7.
  3. Check the selected and remaining page counts.
  4. Download the new PDF; the original file is unchanged.

Choose pages visually or enter a page range

Every page appears as a selectable thumbnail so blank scans, duplicate sheets, covers, and appendices can be checked before removal. For a long document, type page numbers instead: “2, 5-7” removes page 2 and pages 5 through 7. The selection is reflected in both the thumbnail grid and the range field, and this tool always requires at least one page to remain.

A new PDF keeps the pages you selected

Deleting pages creates a separate PDF; it does not change the source file on your device. The downloaded document is built by copying its kept PDF pages, rather than making screenshots, so page dimensions, selectable text, vectors, and embedded images are retained. Links, bookmarks, or page-number references aimed at a removed page can need checking afterward.

Private local processing with practical limits

Previewing and saving happen in this browser, so Betterbit does not receive your PDF. Thumbnails are created one at a time at a bounded resolution, and saving runs away from the page interface so long documents stay responsive. You can cancel either step. One file can contain up to 500 pages and be up to 250 MB. Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.

Frequently asked questions

How do I delete a specific page from a PDF?

Choose the PDF, click the thumbnail for the page to mark it for deletion, then download the new file. You can also type the page number in the Pages to delete field; for example, “4” removes only page 4.

Can I delete several non-consecutive PDF pages?

Yes. Click any combination of page thumbnails, or enter comma-separated page numbers and ranges such as “1, 4, 8-10”. The tool removes only those pages and retains their original order for every other page.

Will deleting pages reduce PDF quality?

No. The downloaded file copies the PDF pages that remain instead of converting them to images, so their original dimensions, selectable text, vector graphics, and embedded image resolution are retained.

Are PDFs uploaded when I delete pages here?

No. This tool previews and creates the new PDF in your browser, without uploading the file to Betterbit. It accepts one local PDF up to 250 MB and 500 pages.

Can I remove every page in a PDF?

No. A PDF needs at least one page, so this tool keeps the final page selected for output and prevents a selection that would remove all pages.
