All pages
Turn every page together, then fine-tune individual thumbnails.
The original stays unchanged. Rotation is saved in a new PDF.
How to use
- Drop a PDF into the file area or choose it from your device.
- Wait for the local preview of every page to appear.
- Use the arrows below an individual thumbnail, or turn all pages at once.
- Check the rotated thumbnail, then download the new PDF.
Turn one PDF page without changing the rest
Each thumbnail has its own left and right turn controls. A 90° turn fixes a sideways scan; two turns make a 180° upside-down correction. The All pages controls are useful when every page came from the scanner in the same direction, while individual controls let mixed documents stay mixed only where needed.
Rotation is saved as page orientation, not a screenshot
A PDF page can carry a rotation value of 0°, 90°, 180°, or 270°. This tool writes the chosen orientation into a new PDF instead of converting pages to images. That keeps selectable text, vectors, links, and the source image resolution in the downloaded document. Your original file is not modified.
Private previews and a practical browser limit
The PDF and its preview images are created locally in this browser, so the file is never sent to Betterbit. Thumbnails are created one at a time at a bounded resolution, with page-by-page progress and cancellation, and saving runs in a background worker. The tool accepts one PDF up to 250 MB and 500 pages. Password-protected PDFs need to be unlocked before a browser can read their pages.
Frequently asked questions
How do I rotate just one page in a PDF?
Choose the PDF, find the page in the thumbnail grid, and use its left or right arrow. Only that page receives a 90° turn; the other page orientations stay unchanged when you download the new PDF.
Can I rotate every page in a PDF at once?
Yes. Use Rotate all left or Rotate all right to turn every page by 90°, then use individual thumbnail controls to correct any exceptions before downloading.
Does rotating a PDF reduce quality?
No. This tool changes the PDF page rotation value rather than rasterizing the page. Text remains selectable, vectors remain vectors, and embedded images retain their source resolution.
Are PDFs uploaded when I rotate them here?
No. Previewing and saving happen in your browser, and the PDF is not uploaded to a Betterbit server. The tool accepts one local PDF up to 250 MB and 500 pages, shows preview progress, and lets you cancel long work.
